This TR weft stretch heavy twill fabric (64% Polyester / 33% Rayon / 3% Spandex) is engineered for structured garments that require durability, comfort, and a premium hand feel. The heavy twill weave creates a pronounced diagonal rib texture, offering excellent abrasion resistance and body – ideal for trousers, jackets, and workwear that need to hold shape. Unlike 4-way stretch, the weft stretch (stretch only in the horizontal direction) provides targeted elasticity for ease of movement while maintaining warp-wise stability, preventing bagging or distortion in the length.
With a substantial weight of 340 g/m² and a width of 148 cm, this fabric ranks as a heavy bottom-weight, perfect for cooler seasons or demanding applications. The blend of polyester delivers wrinkle resistance and durability, rayon adds softness and breathability, and spandex (3%) gives just enough flex for comfort in seated or active positions.
